One Week to go until WorldFood Moscow!

We’re excited to announce there is just one week to go until WorldFood Moscow opens its doors.

That’s right – there are just seven short days until we welcome the great and the good of the international food & drink industry to Russia’s no.1 trade event.

What to look forward to at WorldFood Moscow 2019

We have an action-packed event for you to look forward to at the Crocus Expo Centre, Moscow, between September 24-27.

World class food & drink manufacturers

For starters, over a thousand international and Russian food & drink manufacturers will be showcasing their products here. We’ve split the show over 12 sectors, so if you’re visiting, it’ll be very easy to find the foodstuffs you want to see and their producers.

It’s a cornucopia of food & drink at WorldFood Moscow. From confectionery, to fish & seafood, fruits & vegetables, and everything in between, you won’t find a larger range of products at any other Russian event.

Russia’s top business programme

WorldFood Moscow is far from a dry, trade-only event, where its simply stands and attendees. Far from it.

We have organised another industry-leading programme of business events. The WorldFood Moscow Business Programme runs throughout the entire event. It’s full of practical sessions, keynote speeches, roundtables, seminars, and much more, featuring guest speakers from Russia and around the world.

Of special note is the fact global retail star Walter Robb is making his Russian keynote debut at WorldFood Moscow 2019. Walter founded the highly esteemed Whole Foods brand in 1991, and has since moved on to pioneer organic food around the world.

We’ll also been announcing the winners of the Mar-Pro Retail Championship Challenge this year too. Giving companies the chance to increase their competitive advantage, as well as the opportunity to gain experience in creating strong relationships with suppliers and stockists, The Mar-Pro Retail Championship is a unique contest.

Over a hundred retail and FMCG professionals have been competing in 16 teams across September in order to reach the finals.

But WorldFood Moscow isn’t just about there here and now. We like to look to the future too. As part of the Business Programme, Evgenia Shamis, research leader and CEO of Sherpa S Pro, will be chairing a session discussing how retailers can prepare now to cater to the shoppers of the future.

As an expert in generation theory, Evgenia and the panel’s insights into what shoppers from Generations X, Y, and Z will help stores and manufacturers prep for consumers’ tastes now by comparing and contrasting habits between these age groups. Interesting stuff – and a must for those looking to future proof their business.

There’s much more in store, so don’t forget to check out the whole agenda today.
