One week to go until WorldFood Moscow 2022


​​​​​​​Food producers from 24 countries will gather at the WorldFood Moscow exhibition

From 20 till 23 September 2022, the 31st International Autumn Food and Drink Exhibition WorldFood Moscow will be held at the Crocus Expo IEC. The organizer of the event is ITE Expo International LLC.

Traditionally, in the autumn, during the harvest season, fish season and on the eve of winter and spring holidays, the International Autumn Food and Drink Exhibition WorldFood Moscow is held at Crocus Expo.

WorldFood Moscow is a professional platform that brings together food manufacturers and suppliers with buyers from wholesale and retail trade companies, HoReCa and public catering companies.

This year, more than 700 companies will take part in the exhibition, more than 260 will present their products at WorldFood Moscow for the first time.

WorldFood Moscow is a wide geographical range of participants and visitors, which makes it possible not only to expand sales channels in Russia, but also to enter international markets.

This year the exhibition will bring together manufacturers from 24 countries and 54 regions of Russia.

Foreign manufacturers will be represented by companies from Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Israel, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Poland, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, the United States of America, Uzbekistan.

The Russian exposition at the exhibition will be presented by companies from 54 regions. For the first time, the Arkhangelsk region, the Nenets Autonomous Region, Sevastopol, Tatarstan will present their products at the exhibition.

The WorldFood Moscow exhibition is annually visited by many buyers from wholesale and retail trade enterprises, companies from the HoReCa segment: according to preliminary registration, more than 20,000 specialists from 77 countries of the world and 79 regions of Russia are going to visit the exhibition.

WorldFood Moscow is a wide product range, including the unique Fruits and Vegetables sector, represented in Russia in such a volume only at WorldFood Moscow.

Thematic sectors of the exhibition cover all product categories, which allows buyers to form a comprehensive product matrix that meets the most current consumer demand in just 4 days. Traditionally, WorldFood Moscow participants present their products in 15 sectors:  Alcoholic drinks, Canned food, Confectionery and bakery, Dairy and cheeses, Fish and seafood, Frozen, convenience and ready-to-eat food, Fruit and vegetables, Grocery, Halal, Health an organic food, Meat, poultry and eggs, Non-alcoholic drinks, Non-Food, Oils, fats and sauces, Tea and coffee. This year, the Ingredients sector will be presented for the first time.

Every year at the exhibition you can get acquainted with interesting formats of special expositions. This year will be no exception.

Responding to the needs of the industry, the exhibition team in partnership with RetailTech organized an IT alley. Within this special zone, software and IT solution providers will present their innovative developments for retailers to improve business efficiency.

As part of the special exposition «Business for Everyone», young manufacturers and individual entrepreneurs will present their products to the market.

In partnership with the Organic Foundation a collective stand of organic producers will be presented at the exhibition for the first time.

WorldFood Moscow is an up-to-date business programme and unique event formats with the participation of food industry leaders, top managers of Russian retail and leading business experts.

As part of the WorldFood Moscow 2022 business programme, more than 25 events will be held in two streams. The first of them, the Food Industry Leaders Forum, will be dedicated to the exchange of experience and solutions to urgent problems that retail faced, as well as presentations of actual statistics and market trends with the participation of leading representatives of the industry.

A completely new format for the exhibition, the Culinary Marathon will be held on September 20, 21 and 22. Every day, chefs from the Chefs Team Russia will prepare original dishes from the products of the exhibitors.

Also on September 23, a pitch session of foodtech startups will take place. Based on the results of the selection and voting by a jury consisting of top fund investors, well-known entrepreneurs and representatives of large corporations, the award will be given to innovative and scalable projects that are attractive for investment.

In addition, on September 23, WorldFood Moscow will host two award ceremonies at once: the Food of the Year tasting contest and the WorldFood Organic contest.

As part of the Product of the Year contest, in addition to traditional nominations, there will be awards in two categories: Innovations in food products, Promising import substitution.
