WorldFood Moscow is of fundamental importance for us, as it is held in autumn. As you may know, the highest demand to chocolate assortment falls on a period from September to January, so we prepare some new products for each exhibition and try to do our best within this hot season in order to please our new and old customers. Two years ago, at the exhibition, we met with a major regional network, and now they have a significant portion in our turnover. It is unlikely that we would meet these Ural partners sitting in our Moscow office. The more people and companies participate in the exhibition, the more visitors it attracts, and ultimately all participants of this process benefit.

This is a specialty of the exhibition, because it is organized by a foreign company, and for us, as a Russian company, it is important to have these partners. We believe that Crocus Expo, as a state-of-the-art venue, provides opportunities to attract a wider range of participants. Thanks to vast exhibition areas, a lot of participants can exhibit, and all visitors can feel comfortable there. Year after year, we notice an increasing number of participants and visitors which attend exactly our booth. WorldFood Moscow is a good event where you can find interesting solutions for your business.
During all WorldFood Moscow exhibitions we succeeded in concluding new contracts
not only with distributors from Russian regions, but also from near- and far-abroad countries: Kazakhstan, Germany. We also have partners in China and Vietnam. We believe that participation in such a major exhibition is a very strong marketing decision that allows to show our new products to potential customers. We can meet with our partners and discuss face-to-face the issues that cannot be discussed through other means of communication, and finally come to the necessary agreements. Participation is a must. My experience of participating in exhibitions shows that there is always benefit.
We have been participating in the exhibition for three years in a row. The exhibition gives us an opportunity to have personal meetings, where we communicate with people face to face and can solve those issues that could not be solved within some time in the past. Thanks to the exhibition, we have found brilliant partners. These include Billa, Auchan, Avoska and many regional buyers. If you want to achieve good results, want your business to develop and flourish, then I think you definitely need to go to the exhibition so that people can see you, remember you, and then everything will be fine.
In 2018, we met with purchasers from X5, Pyaterochka representatives, and signed a contract with them. Today we supply certain categories of our products to Pyaterochka stores in several regions, and negotiate with Lenta, which resulted from exactly WorldFood Moscow 2018 exhibition. In other words, this is, on the one hand, a kind of an image story, and on the other hand, it is, certainly, the presentation of new products. Small companies are strongly recommended to participate. They may unite or apply for the state support. It is purchasers who come to exhibitions, and you can talk and hold negotiations with them. Sometimes it’s very difficult to have them on the phone. Sometimes it’s hard even to show your product and say: “Hey, look, we made some innovative dispenser” or “a cool recipe”. They may not answer, but if a person is interested himself, came to you and sat down to talk, there are more chances that the process will go faster.
For us, WorldFood Moscow is a great opportunity to increase awareness of our company.
Thanks to this exhibition, we have an opportunity to communicate with purchasers from other countries.
Counterparties started to take us more seriously, because this exhibition allows to raise the company profile. For example, Perekrestok. We negotiated with them, then they saw us at the exhibition and after that we began to actively cooperate with them. I would strongly recommend to take part in this exhibition,
as it gives opportunities for the future.
Such professional exhibition as WorldFood Moscow is the main event where manufacturers can, firstly, show their products to end consumers, and secondly, conclude some contracts with potential
contractors, distributors, retail chains etc. At WorldFood Moscow, everything happens under one roof; hence, all participants are in one place, there is a maximum concentration of people here, and, correspondingly, the maximum influx of people to the booth. We will certainly give out tastes at WorldFood Moscow. For us, it is very important to have a feedback. Besides, this is an international exhibition, that is why we expect to see some foreign distributors, we also plan to export in future; these are potential growth points for our company.
This is a kind of an image component, because a major company must be present at WorldFood Moscow. This is the concentration of customers which come specifically to the exhibition, with whom you can talk, conclude new agreements, or resume some relations. This is a discussion with competitors and friends. We hope that this is actually a state-of-the-art venue, that it is much more convenient for people, including those who arrive by cars – there is a good parking, metro station and a hotel. We hope that there will be more target audience.
A few years ago, we discovered that participation in exhibitions could be an excellent tool for development and assistance in
sales, and, generally, at many levels. This exhibition will be the first Russian exhibition for us. This is not only an opportunity for
us to realize everything that we have planned, but it is also a great training moment for us. We are going not only to work, but also to study and develop, and I think this will be the beginning of our long-term cooperation and love.
